The ASEG Discover Symposium is a premier event for geophysicists working in mining, energy, and near-surface industries. With a focus on applied geophysics, the conference brings together experts to discuss the latest advancements and share knowledge.

SmartSolo will be showcasing its cutting-edge seismic nodes at booth #6. These innovative instruments are designed to provide unparalleled data quality and efficiency for a wide range of applications, including mineral exploration, hydrogen and helium exploration, geothermal exploration, induced seismicity monitoring, and carbon storage monitoring as well as microseismicity and engineering geophysics.

SmartSolo's seismic nodes are particularly well-suited for passive seismic exploration, using techniques like Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) and Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HSVR). These techniques allow for the identification of subsurface structures, lithological variations, and potential targets for mineral deposits, gas reservoirs, geothermal resources, and carbon storage sites.

For mineral exploration, SmartSolo's seismic nodes can be used to detect and delineate mineral-rich zones by analyzing the subsurface's seismic properties. In the case of hydrogen, helium, and geothermal exploration, the nodes can help identify gas reservoirs and assess their permeability.

In the context of carbon storage, SmartSolo's seismic nodes can be used to monitor CO2 injection and migration in subsurface reservoirs. By analyzing the seismic properties of the reservoir, it is possible to identify potential leakage pathways and ensure the safe and effective storage of CO2. Additionally, SmartSolo's seismic nodes are valuable for monitoring induced seismicity, which is often associated with human-induced activities such as hydraulic fracturing and deep geothermal energy extraction. By tracking microseismic activity, the nodes can help assess the potential risks and impacts of these activities.

SmartSolo's participation in ASEG Discover underscores the company's commitment to driving innovation in seismic exploration. By offering advanced solutions that deliver exceptional results and improve efficiency, SmartSolo is helping clients to make informed decisions and optimize their operations.
